Levelland authorizes participation in TxDOT Routine Airport Maintenance Program for FY2026

The program can fund routine items such as pavement repair, signage, lighting and hangar work. Historically the city budgets $50,000 in the airport fund to match the grant request.
Council approved entering the agreement and authorized the City Manager to execute documents necessary to request funds under the RAMP program; staff said the county's consideration is also required for joint projects. The action allows the city to seek eligible routine maintenance funding for the airport in the coming fiscal year.
