The Prospect Heights SD 23 Board voted on Oct. 9 to approve two proposals from Procom to replace analog vestibule intercoms at Eisenhower and MacArthur schools.
According to packet estimates, each site had a pre-discount parts subtotal of $7,711 and a grand total of $6,811.13 after a competitive discount; the minutes record a board motion approving both proposals in a single motion for a combined amount of $13,623. The motion was made by Tracey Morrissey and seconded by Brian Greidanus and passed by unanimous roll call (Yea:7).
The Procom estimate included equipment (door and master stations, gateway and relay), cabling labor, programming and testing, and a one-year minimum warranty. The proposal notes customer responsibilities for power provision and ongoing maintenance requirements, and contains standard warranty, insurance, limitation-of-liability and payment terms.
Provenance: Estimates and scope were included in the meeting packet; approval appears in the minutes.
