Committee agrees to participate in WISDOT salt contract pending final price

"For this coming year, they have not provided a price per ton yet," the street supervisor said, explaining the city will join the bidding process to lock in quantities but is not committed to pay a final amount if bids come in extraordinarily high. Committee members asked about brine use and equipment; staff said the city currently lacks brine application equipment but has an earmarked unit in the 2026 budget to pre-treat roads.
