Elkton council approves code changes on flood elevation, fences and temporary storage containers

During the joint public hearing resident Wayne Printz asked the council to explain the storage-container amendment; Planning Commission Chair Dan Talbot said the change addresses temporary portable storage containers, citing examples such as "pods, or ocean sea containers." The Planning Commission recommended the amendments unanimously and the council accepted the recommendation on a 5-0 vote.
