Police Chief Joseph Olenik reported the department logged 139.75 patrol hours and 8 court hours for Aug. 26–Sept. 21, 2025, with a shift breakdown provided for each day of the week and 11 calls for service in the village. Chief Olenik told the board both new village patrol cars arrived last week and that the Pine Plains patrol car was washed, detailed and picked up on Saturday.
Olenik said he and Fire Project Manager Caroline Farr‑Killmer will continue reviewing items related to fire reimbursement and equipment replacement. He also explained how the department's body cameras and the recorder's translator work; no policy changes to footage or translation were proposed at this meeting.
