Staff disqualified Sames for failing to include required outfitting and disqualified some Smith Auto Family quotations that did not meet the RFP engine specification on other unit types; staff recommended Premier CDJR in part because of its closer location (70 miles) and warranty pickup/return service compared with a more distant bidder (Grapevine CDJR, 350 miles). Council moved through the separate awards item-by-item and approved each contract on motion.
