Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb provided several administrative updates. She said the town’s revaluation work is underway as CMAC has begun the roadside review of every property. Liscomb said she will be on vacation from Feb. 9 through Feb. 16 and will be available by phone and checking email periodically.
Liscomb told the board that a grant applied for through Susan Collins was signed and approved by the President and that "every police department in Hancock County will be getting free body cameras," according to the minutes. She also reported intermittent problems sending email to some Gmail accounts and said IT support has been unable to determine the cause. On the dock legal matter, Liscomb said the town has engaged a fourth attorney and provided camera footage for review. The minutes record these as informational updates; no binding directions or new appropriations were made at the meeting.
