The proclamation states that the number of functioning guzzlers in Siskiyou County "increased from approximately 40 to 240, providing more than 500,000 gallons of water annually for wildlife," and that restoration and expansion efforts, "including grant funding and volunteer labor, exceeds $850,000 with nearly 8,000 hours since 2021," including "more than 4,000 hours personally contributed by Harold himself." The board passed the proclamation unanimously; Dukey thanked the board and credited volunteers and partner organizations.
