Student Senate reports record Winterfest turnout, fundraising and student concerns

He noted the spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, will be staged March 20–22 and the World Travel Club is scheduling Give Back Nights to offset costs for a trip to Japan. Hart also raised concerns students have about classroom tools and services: “Some students are using the pilot iPads, some are finding it less user friendly compared to their current mac device,” and he said students “would like to see a wider variety of food for school lunch.”
Students also suggested using advisory time for homework and make-up tests. The board acknowledged the report; no formal action was taken during the meeting on the device pilot or lunch offerings, though the remarks were logged for future consideration.
