Lisa Holmes, chair of the Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation, updated the Board on the Foundation’s work and introduced new executive board members. Holmes said the Foundation has raised and awarded more than $400,000 since 2012 to support teachers, students and staff across Farmington Public Schools and outlined goals for 2025–26.
For the 2024–25 cycle Holmes reported the Foundation awarded "more than $18,000" in classroom grants and provided "$25,000 in scholarships" for graduating seniors. She invited trustees to the Foundation’s "Toast to Education" event on Nov. 7 at The Meridian.
