Audit, sewer plant bid, minutes and financials tabled; council holds attorney consultation in executive session

At its Jan. 6 meeting, the Lindale City Council tabled several items: consideration of the FY 2024–25 city audit (F-1), award of the bid for the South Side Sewer Treatment Plant (F-8), approval of the Dec. 2, 2025 minutes (F-9), and the Nov. 2025 expenditures and financial reports (F-10). The agenda lists those items as tabled and they will be returned to a future meeting for action.
The council also entered executive session at 6:30 p.m. under Texas Government Code Sec. 551.071 to consult with the city attorney on legal matters not related to litigation and returned to open session at 6:36 p.m. No action was taken in open session on matters from the executive session, according to the minutes.
