Steven Lloyd, Director of Planning and Development, presented revisions to the Amending Replat Phase I of Derby Meadows Addition (J.C. White Survey A-1034) at the Jan. 6 meeting. The revisions convert three buildable lots into open space to satisfy TxDOT requirements for additional open space to manage stormwater runoff and detention; the Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval and the council voted to adopt the amended plat.
Council member Bryan Summerville moved to approve the amending replat; Sallie Black seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The change reduces the number of buildable lots and adds dedicated open-space areas aimed at meeting state and transportation agency requirements for stormwater management.
