S3 (Chair) described the scope and said the lowest combined bid for painting and roof work was approximately $76,015 while awnings and window replacement were also priced in the packet. "It appears they're gonna fix some portion of the roof. We would get new windows all the way around and new black awning," S3 said. Councilors noted the city had completed interior work last year and emphasized the importance of preserving the building.
Council approved moving forward with the recommended low bids; staff will contract the work in phases (windows split by floor) and oversee construction to minimize disruption to city operations.
