Superintendent Jamie Kraatz told the Saginaw Township Board of Education Committee‑of‑the‑Whole that “the portables that will be placed at Weiss and Westdale” are awaiting state approval and that the placement process will move quickly once the state signs off. Kraatz said the district is prepared to act rapidly after approval and emphasized the portables are part of the district’s near‑term facilities plan.
Kraatz also reported that the Arrowwood bus loop was “fully functional today” and that all summer Sinking Fund projects are completed. The superintendent’s update left timing contingent on the state approval process; she did not give a firm delivery date at the meeting. Board members did not take formal action at the Committee‑of‑the‑Whole meeting on the portables.
