At its Feb. 10 meeting the Forest Hills Board of Education approved a broad consent package of capital purchases and vendor contracts as part of its consent grouping. The largest single purchase authorized was new playground equipment from Game Time, not to exceed $5,223,076; the board also approved classroom furniture purchases (not to exceed $2,303,911), interactive flat panels from Digital Age Technologies (DAT) (not to exceed $379,654) and four new 77‑passenger buses from Midwest Transit Equipment at a total cost of $646,464.
The board awarded roofing contracts for multiple sites: Food Service roofing to Modern Roofing (not to exceed $125,190), Pine Ridge roofing to Division 7 Building Contractors Inc. (not to exceed $569,176), and Eastern Middle/High roofing to Advanced Construction Group Inc. (not to exceed $547,924). All these approvals were adopted under the consent grouping by a 6–0 roll call vote. The meeting minutes list total presented expenditures across funds for January 2025 as $17,781,954.27.
