The Saginaw Township Board of Education convened a special meeting at 9:05 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Arrowwood Conference Center and immediately moved through routine business. President Janice Collison called the meeting to order and roll call established a quorum with seven board members present and two student board members in attendance.
Arik Smith moved to adopt the meeting agenda; Marianne Bird seconded and the motion passed by roll call vote. David Booth then moved to approve minutes from meetings held Sept. 8 (Committee-of-the-Whole and Special Meeting) and Sept. 22 (Closed Meeting and Regular Meeting); Marianne Bird seconded and the board approved the minutes by roll call. The public comment period was called and no one spoke. The meeting concluded after two personnel appointments were approved and David Jaffe moved to adjourn; the meeting ended at 9:14 p.m.
