Little Elm ISD board approves consent agenda including expenditures and catering RFP

During the Sept. 15 meeting the Little Elm ISD Board approved its consent agenda encompassing routine and administrative matters. Items approved included the Aug. 18 public hearing and regular meeting minutes, HB3372 administrator outside-contract approvals, class-size waivers under the Maximum Class Size Exemptions, a summary report of expenditures exceeding $100,000, the district's interlocal summary report, financial reports, and Request for Proposal #2024-005 for food catering services. Trustee Jeff Burton made the first motion to approve the consent agenda; Vice President DeLeon English seconded, and the motion passed 6–0.
The minutes do not record separate debate on these items; they were adopted ‘‘as submitted’’ and the vote was unanimous among members present. Because the consent agenda includes financial and procurement items, district staff are responsible for implementing the awarded RFP and monitoring contracted expenditures.
