Board amends special meeting agenda to remove parenthetical language under ‘Return to Special Meeting’

The Farmington Board of Education voted unanimously Aug. 21, 2025, to amend its special meeting agenda by removing the language in parentheses under Agenda Item V, “Return to Special Meeting.” Trustee Claudia T. Heinrich moved the amendment and Trustee Angie F. Smith supported the motion; the board recorded ayes from Blau, Heinrich, Hull, Recinto, Smith and Walker and no nays.
The revision to the agenda was made at the outset of the special meeting, which Vice President Donald Walker, Jr. called to order at 5:00 p.m. The board approved the amended agenda before moving on to the meeting’s substantive procedural business and the scheduled closed session.
