Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations Julie Davis told the Curriculum Committee on March 12 that the Board Finance Committee examined two months of financial statements, reviewed a bond update and Section 147G reimbursement funds, and discussed federal funding allocations. She listed six items the Finance Committee plans to present to the full Board at Monday's meeting, including Microsoft (year 3 of 3), structured cabling at CHS, a lawn maintenance contract, the final year of the TruGreen contract, a bond sale yielding $600,000 of interest relief, and a property tax refund item.
Member Holly DeBoer asked whether the district would follow executive orders; Superintendent Kirby responded that the district will follow only orders adopted through the legal process and that, to date, none of the adopted orders affect district practice. The committee did not record a formal vote in these minutes; Ms. Davis framed the items as Finance Committee recommendations to the Board.
