Utah State Tax Commission approves minutes, extends Weber County appeals deadline and okays Netflix settlement

The body then considered two action items: one granting Weber County an extension to decide appeals and one approving a settlement agreement in a court case involving Netflix. Both motions were moved by Commissioner John T. Deeds and passed unanimously on roll call.
The minutes record the adjournment following a motion by Commissioner Rebecca L. Rockwell: "MOTION: Commissioner Rockwell moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. Commission Chair Valentine adjourned the meeting at 10:08 a.m." The recorded adjournment time appears inconsistent with the 10:30 a.m. start time noted in the minutes; the times above are quoted verbatim from the minutes.
