As part of its second quarter work, the committee directed subcommittees to develop community‑survey questions and to invite groups and individuals to provide testimony and data. S2 said each subcommittee will use a common template so the full committee can analyze consistent inputs.
"In the 2nd 0.25, so coming up now through March, SWAC is going to develop a community survey," S2 said, noting each subcommittee will propose one or two questions to solicit public input. The committee expects the subcommittees to finalize a data‑assessment report in the third quarter and to provide monthly reports to ensure coordination and avoid duplication.
Committee leaders said the survey and testimony will be used to identify gaps and to craft short‑ and long‑term strategies that will be prioritized against budget constraints before recommendations are submitted to the commissioners.
