Calvert expands early college program with CSM; district reports strong completion and growth targets

Sutton provided participation figures: 19 students in the one‑year program last year (all 19 completed), 44 started the one‑year option this year (two returned to their home high school and 42 are on track), and the district is targeting 20 rising juniors for the two‑year option and 60 rising seniors for the one‑year option next year. He also noted logistical constraints at the Prince Frederick campus — classroom staffing and specific course availability — and described a transportation model that uses CTA buses and a campus shuttle to move students to CSM.
