Members selected subcommittees and used a three‑person “triangle” structure for each (lead, secretary, researcher). The panel voted to maintain its existing meeting schedule and add quarterly evening sessions to broaden public participation. Committee leaders said each subcommittee will produce a data‑assessment report using a standard template and will report monthly to avoid duplicated effort.
"We adopted our mission statement, which is essentially, that school safety and well‑being advisory committee is to enhance the safety, security, and overall well‑being of students and staff within the Calvert County Public School systems," the Chair said.
