Calvert County schools say AIB approved local blueprint; district outlines five pillars

Gruber summarized the plan’s five pillars — early childhood, elevating the teaching profession, an engaging instructional system, nonacademic student supports, and governance and accountability — and said implementing the components will require cross‑department collaboration. She noted that while approval secures access to blueprint funding, the plan’s complexity means many components must be coordinated locally and monitored for impact on students and staff.
