As part of old business, staff noted ongoing work on a public-awareness campaign to inform the community about the blueprint and hearing logistics; the communications director Erin Lowe was in attendance. Emily confirmed there were no members of the public signed up for comment.
In closing comments John Norris told the committee staff are tracking multiple state bills in Annapolis, including House Bill 504, Senate Bill 429, House Bill 1245, Senate Bill 852 and House Bill 1430, and offered to circulate YouTube links to those hearings. Committee members thanked presenters and emphasized continuing the dialogue as the blueprint moves to implementation.
