Trent Woods schedules Tryon Run, blood drive and holiday office closures

Town Clerk Holly Willis reminded the Board that the Tryon Run will pass through Trent Woods on Dec. 6 and that The Blood Connection will visit Jan. 22, 2026; town offices will be closed Dec. 24–26 and Jan. 1, 2026, and food trucks will run Fridays except Dec. 26.
Town Clerk Holly Willis used the Dec. 4 meeting to remind the Board and public of a set of near-term community events and service schedules. The Tryon Run is scheduled to pass through Trent Woods on Saturday, Dec. 6, and The Blood Connection blood drive is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2026; the nonprofit RCS will receive a monetary amount for each pint collected.
Town offices will be closed Dec. 24–26 for the Christmas holiday and on Jan. 1, 2026 for New Year's Day. Food trucks are scheduled every Friday except Dec. 26. The Board recorded these community-event and office-schedule items without additional action.
