Helena Bell, county accounting (speaker 5), told the board the batch included $102,000 to Blackwell Oil for bulk fuel, $41,000 for magnesium chloride, $32,500 to Armstrong consultants for an AWOS (automated weather observing system) relocation at Granby Airport, $148,000 to architects for the new Granby EMS station and $38,000 to Matrix Design Group for phase 2 of the wildfire-ready action plan. "This week's batch of vouchers is $646,040.91," Bell said.
Commissioners moved to approve the vouchers, wire payments and interfund transfers as presented for payment on May 28; the motion carried by voice vote. The approval also covered vouchers for the Department of Human Services and the Grand County Housing Authority, per the motion. The vote did not include any separate debate or contingency conditions.
The board handled the item early on the agenda as part of routine financial business; commissioners typically review voucher line items in the meeting packet before voting. No further discussion or follow-up tasks were assigned during the session.
