Town Clerk Holly Willis told the board the recent blood drive collected "26 whole units of blood" and that The Blood Connection will donate $280 to Religious Community Services. She also reported the Shred Day event at Town Hall collected 9,900 pounds of paper (4.95 tons) and encouraged participation in upcoming Earth Week events scheduled April 20–25.
Announcements also included a Bangert Elementary calendar distribution for young students on April 22, a tree dedication by the Girls & Boys Club/Garden Club on April 22 at Cottle Park, an Earth Week celebration April 25, weekly food trucks on Fridays, and a possible Liberty Tree dedication on May 16 at Town Hall.
