Trent Woods adopts town-owned sidewalk regulations and awards Phase V sidewalk contract

Separately, Commissioner Dan Murphy moved to lower speed limits on Colleton Way, Alexander Lane and Grenville Court; the motion passed and Chief Oglesby was asked to review other town streets that may need changes.
Maintenance Officer Rich Schreiber reported the town received two bids for Phase V sidewalks; Commissioner Murphy moved to accept the low bid from Charles Hughes Construction Company, Commissioner Joiner seconded, and the board approved the contract unanimously. No contract dollar amounts were recorded in the meeting minutes.
