At its April 9 meeting, the Town of Trent Woods Board of Commissioners approved three budget amendments for FY 2025–2026. Budget Amendment No. 2 adjusted General Fund estimated revenues and appropriations for Maintenance Salaries & Benefits tied to a Zoning Certification increase; Amendment No. 3 covered code enforcement training, vehicle repairs, removal of a dead tree at Cottle Park and culvert/ditch repairs into the Meadows Park parking lot; Amendment No. 4 accounted for donations and expenses for a History event and Earth Week activities (Donations-Miscellaneous $2,324 credited to Special Events $2,324).
Each amendment was moved and seconded and passed unanimously. The meeting minutes include line-item account changes for Amendments No. 2 and No. 3, and note a pending Golden LEAF reimbursement of approximately $270,000 for a completed drainage project that cost nearly $479,000.
