Residents press Trent Woods to address recurring drainage problems on Gloucester Drive

At the March 5 meeting, James Manley of 4500 Gloucester Drive told the Board he remains disappointed by continued drainage problems affecting his property despite prior town responses. Jim Gower of 4504 Gloucester Drive echoed the concern, urging that an engineer walk the area and provide a fresh assessment; he offered to ride along with town staff to point out problem locations.
The Board asked Maintenance & Zoning Supervisor Rich Schreiber to contact Joe Avolis of Avolis Engineering to inspect the affected stretch of Gloucester Drive and determine whether additional town action is feasible. Commissioner M. Shane Turney acknowledged the long-standing nature of the problem and said the Board is pursuing a systemic approach but cautioned that solutions will require time and funding.
