At its March 5 meeting the Town of Trent Woods Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing on an amended ordinance to adopt town-owned sidewalk regulations and closed it after receiving no public comment. Town Attorney Aaron Arnette explained the amendment and requested the item be added to the April board agenda for further action.
The hearing was opened by Commissioner M. Shane Turney and seconded by Commissioner Billy Joiner; the board closed the hearing at 6:05 p.m. Arnette asked that the amended ordinance be placed on the April agenda so the board can consider the updated bid package and related changes in sidewalk Phase #5.
