During the consent-agenda portion of its Nov. 19 meeting, the Lockney City Council accepted routine financial reports and departmental updates. The minutes state that "After adjustments the City ended the year with $417,000 in the black." The consent agenda also noted that Public Works will assist the Chamber with installing Christmas lights.
Councilmember Ed Marks moved to accept the consent agenda and Dart Carthel seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The consent agenda also included Fire Department and Public Works reports, the Mayor’s report, City Manager/City Secretary reports, and an EDC report.
