Lockney council appoints four to economic-development board and expands bylaws

The Lockney City Council unanimously voted Nov. 19 to appoint Corbin Kellison, Esmeralda Sanchez, Amber Graves and Michael DeLeon to the Lockney Economic Development Corporation board and to revise the LEDC bylaws to add an additional board seat. Councilmember Edward Marks made the motion and Councilmember Donnie McLaughlin seconded; the motion carried with all members present voting in favor.
The appointments followed a council review of candidate names and an explicit instruction to update the corporation’s bylaws to reflect the expanded board. The action places the four designees on the LEDC board pending completion of the bylaws change and any standard onboarding required by the corporation.
