Board approves volunteer audit of sheriff's office; contractor to donate services

Shortland said Mr. Line "is willing to volunteer and contribute his services" and that legal reviewed the contract and found no monetary consideration; finance also signed off. The board moved to approve the services contract and authorized the chair to sign the documents.
The approval was recorded by voice consent and no fiscal appropriation was required because the services are donated.
