Tourism board wins approval for Key Data short‑term rental analytics

Commissioners asked about geographic granularity — Orr confirmed the data can be broken down by ZIP code, though they cautioned that ZIP‑level reporting can misattribute rural inventory to nearby towns.
The board voted to approve the software agreement. Commissioners and staff noted the data will help anticipate busy weekends and coordinate with local partners, and staff will ensure the contract is distributed to relevant county offices.
