Lohn ISD accepts fuel bid from Reeder Distributors and food bid from Ben E. Keith for 2024–25
Summary
The board approved single bids for fuel (Reeder Distributors) and for food/cafeteria products and milk (Ben E. Keith) for the 2024–25 school year and authorized use of Labatt Food Services through the co-op.
Administration reported that the district received a single bid for unleaded gasoline and diesel from Reeder Distributors (Brady, TX); the board moved to accept that bid for fuel delivery to Lohn for 2024–25.
The district also received one bid for food, cafeteria products and milk from Ben E. Keith. The board accepted that bid and noted Labatt Food Services would also be used through the co-op for cafeteria needs during the year. The motions were seconded and carried unanimously.
