Councilmember Ted Munford called it a "valued staple within the community," and Mayor Corey Foley noted the event's growth may require additional seating in the future. City staff confirmed $17,000 was budgeted for sponsorship with an extra $1,000 allocated for the Special Needs Rodeo; Councilmember Robin O'Driscoll moved to approve the full $18,000 sponsorship and the motion passed unanimously (Munford, O'Driscoll, Long, Porter aye).
