The Commission took two governance and administrative actions. Susan J. Kelsey moved, and Ellery Sinclair seconded, that Sinclair send a memo to the Board of Selectmen requesting that Marleen Van Gulick be appointed as a regular Commission member to replace MaP Gallagher, whose term had expired; the motion passed unanimously. Van Gulick had been serving as an alternate member.
On communications, Kelsey moved that the Commission become a member of the Connecticut Land Conservation Council with annual dues of $100; Sinclair seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes also record routing-sheet sign-offs for a non-permanent pavilion at HVRHS Ag Science and Tech Department/CL&P leased property and receipt of a DEEP State Waters permit notification for the Aeschliman Property aquatic pesticide application. The meeting adjourned at 8:46 p.m. after Sinclair moved to adjourn and Van Gulick seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
