Todd County board approves warrants and routine contracts totaling hundreds of thousands

At its April 1 meeting the Todd County Board approved commissioner warrants of $79,268.60, Health & Human Services warrants of $63,079.73, SSIS warrants of $87,176.19, and ratified a tentative Teamsters courthouse employees contract covering 2025–2027 with wage step changes and COLAs.
The Todd County Board of Commissioners approved a set of routine financial items and a tentative labor contract at its April 1 meeting.
Denise, the county's auditor-treasurer, presented commissioner warrants totaling $79,268.60 (ACH and manual payments); HHS commissioner warrants totaling $63,079.73; and Health & Human Services SSIS warrants totaling $87,176.19. Each warrant package was moved, seconded and approved; the commissioner warrants were approved after a roll-call showing affirmative votes from commissioners in attendance.
County administration also presented a tentative Teamsters courthouse employees contract covering 2025— 2027. The administration summarized key terms: employer and employee will share Minnesota paid family and medical leave premiums; single insurance coverage remains fully employer-paid in 2025 with a $25-per-month employee contribution for certain high-cost single plans in 2026— 2027; a new 11-step salary schedule takes effect the first full pay period in January 2025; and cost-of-living adjustments are scheduled at 2.5% (2025), 3.5% (2026) and 3.0% (2027). The board moved and ratified the agreement by voice vote.
Commissioners did not place substantive reservations on the financial items during the meeting; staff noted background material was provided in advance for review. No fiscal contingencies beyond the amounts presented were adopted during the session.
