Board plans pollinator garden and slope restoration at skate park

The board also discussed mechanical slope work to remove sumac and invasive species on the skate-park hillside and seed the slope. John said a new backhoe with an extended bucket should allow staff to scrape and regrade the slope; board members agreed to schedule a site visit (noon proposed) to coordinate equipment, volunteer help and seed choices. "So I think for, you know, 3 or $400 we can get that done," the chair said.
