The Charlestown Tree Board approved the 2025 tree-board master plan and opted to revise the plan to note the city's on-staff ISA-certified arborist (Travis) as a resource mentioned in the codified ordinance. The chair said the board will finalize a minor revision to the plan and deliver it to city staff.
"We have the tree board master plan for 2025," the chair said during the meeting. John (city staff) told the board the city has contracted an ordinance rewrite and will pull the board into an in‑house team with a consultant over the coming year to update tree-related development standards. The board moved and approved the master plan by voice vote.
