The Sesser-Valier Community Unit School District No. 196 Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the Nov. 10, 2025 meeting, including the Treasurer's report, bills totaling $139,238.05 and salaries totaling $462,592.50. President Garner called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM and Secretary L. Zimbro recorded seven members present.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Lance and seconded by Rounds; roll call voting was recorded as Dilliner, Garner, Kelly, Kirk, Lance, Packer and Rounds voting yes and none voting no. "There being seven (7) yeas and zero (0) nays, the president declared that the motion carried," the minutes state. The approval clears the listed expenditures and the previous meeting minutes (Oct. 14, 2025) from the board's agenda.
The consent vote moves routine financial oversight items forward ahead of the board's December discussions, including a separate agenda item noting the levy for Tax Year 2025 is slated for approval at the board's Dec. 8 meeting.
