At its May 20 meeting the Carneys Point Township Committee recorded the following outcomes: unanimous approvals for Resolutions 2026-106 and 2026-107 (DLGS Trust-by-Rider requests for Fire and Ambulance donations); Resolution 2026-108 urging repeal of the gas-tax escalator; Resolution 2026-109 determining Exit 4 redevelopment plans are consistent with the redevelopment agreement; and memoranda of agreement (Resolutions 2026-110–113) to add Juneteenth to multiple contracts. Ordinances 1091 (food trucks) and 1092 (township social media rules) were adopted by unanimous vote.
Ordinance 1093 (data-center ban) was introduced; the recorded roll-call on introduction was: Mrs. Martin yes; Mr. Brown no; Mr. Martin abstained; Mayor Bomba no. Executive Session was convened under Resolution 2026-114. The committee approved audited vouchers totaling $136,267.80.
