During public participation, residents raised multiple neighborhood concerns. Patty Bomba thanked the Industrial Commission and Committee for supporting Habitat for Humanity emergency repairs for eligible seniors and veterans; the mayor said Fair Share funds will support the program and the Industrial Commission is expected to oversee it after required training.
Other residents described localized problems: Kim Homes reported rainwater pooling near Herold St. and Elmwood Ave where three manholes sit above the roadway; Suzette Dues complained about trash left at the curb for a week and nighttime basketball noise; Amy Secreto said children lack play space and suggested moving the basketball court to the Recreation Complex. County Commissioner Paul Collier attended and briefly spoke about planning-board involvement and community engagement.
