During the April 15 meeting the committee adopted ORDINANCE 1088 to establish the Salem County Joint Municipal Court and adopted ORDINANCE 1089 and RESOLUTION 2026-95 fixing salary ranges for non‑union township officers and employees. Mayor Bomba opened both ordinances for public comment; no public comments were made before the motions to adopt were carried unanimously.
The committee also introduced ORDINANCE 1090, a bond ordinance authorizing issuance of up to $1,052,376 in general obligation bonds or bond anticipation notes to acquire capital equipment and complete capital improvements. The ordinance was introduced as part of capital requests discussed during prior budget meetings.
