Town schedules bid openings and preconstruction meetings for road and recreation work

Engineer S. Cosaboon told the Committee that the bid opening for Ives Avenue is scheduled for June 2 and the bid opening for the Pickleball Court at the Recreation Complex is scheduled for June 9. The preconstruction meeting for North Miller Avenue is scheduled for June 10. Cosaboon also reported force main construction by the Sewerage Authority on Georgetown Road; Mr. Brown noted the contractor will repave Georgetown Road even though it was paved less than five years ago.
The Committee authorized the Mayor to sign a soil erosion application for the Pickleball Courts and an NJDEP form related to wastewater treatment work that will occur in the right-of-way. These steps allow the projects to proceed toward bidding and preconstruction activity.
