Superintendent Lou reported operational problems with the district’s AngelTrax mobile video system used on school buses, saying the software ‘‘is supposed to download nightly. However, it freezes and several times a lot of times, it's not does not work properly.’’ He described two workarounds: waiting for a 24‑hour return of video from AngelTrax or using a handheld device that provides limited view and sound.
Lou said three buses need upgrades and that Mr. Daniel will research and update the district’s transportation safety and security product. Trustees recorded the operational concern and directed staff follow-up; no procurement action was taken at this meeting.
