Boys & Girls Club thanks Midvale for grant as enrollment spikes

Amanda Gardner, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Club, introduced the organization’s decades-long presence in Salt Lake County and in Midvale. "Just today over 75 kids signed up for the program. They only charge $20 for the full year and often waive that fee if necessary," Gardner said, and she thanked the City for its renewed grant support.
Council Member Bonnie Billings described her own positive experience as a former "club kid" and the Council expressed appreciation for the organization's services. Staff indicated the grant will continue to support programming and enrollment outreach in Midvale.
