Staff said the posting will include a challenge form that community members may use to request review of specific items; the district will process challenges and return to the board for review after 30 days.
A staff presenter walked the board through where the materials list and card catalog will appear on the website and how visitors can submit a challenge. "As a community member, if, you know, if I'm not pleased with the with the book for whatever reason, I can complete that information and, we'll address that after our 30 days," the presenter said. The agenda item was informational; staff said the board will revisit the posting for formal approval after the 30-day public review period.
